01. TREATING PEOPLE EQUALLY IS UNNECESSARY
Often times equality is seen as pretending you see no differences between people, but we feel true equality lies in seeing, acknowledging and embracing people’s differences. Rather than turning a blind eye to people’s gender, culture, age or identity, we aim to connect with people for those things in which they differ and nurture a mindset in which everyone can be valued as their complete and authentic self.
02. NEVER WASTE A GOOD FAILURE
A certain Oscar Wilde once said “experience is simply the name we give to our mistakes”. Sounds clever, doesn’t it? The guy could be a poet. All jokes aside, we have faced our own fair share of challenges and have fallen flat on our face more than once. We have found there is no better learning school than having to straighten your back after every faceplant. Together with the successes we celebrated, this doesn’t result in a know-it-all attitude but in a whole lot of experience.
